Rosebery Engine Yards has achieved a 5-Star Green Star Design and As-Built v1.3 rating. The site has significantly reduced its carbon footprint by reusing existing materials and sourcing low-impact products with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). By promoting circularity through the restoration of heritage elements such as windows, timber trusses, bricks, fixtures, and external facades, these ESD initiatives have collectively contributed to an impressive 48% reduction in embodied carbon emissions.

Rosebery Engine Yards public art by Patrizia Biondi is made from reclaimed timber that originates from the site itself. The art piece reflects the building’s industrial past and is in line with the project’s adaptive reuse vision.
